Steve Swift is the Co-Founder of WellQuest, and has served as President and Chairman of the WellQuest Board of Directors beginning in November 2004.  Between July 2004 and October 2004, Mr. Swift worked independently towards the development of the Company. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Swift was the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Director of Springer Clinic, Inc., a Tulsa, Oklahoma based multi-specialty clinic and medical treatment facility.  Prior to 2000, Mr. Swift served as Regional Vice-President of Operations for PhyCor, Inc. a publicly traded national physician management company where he oversaw $200 Million annual business revenues of multiple large clinics. He served from 1985-1994 as Executive Director of Holt Krock Clinic, a major Multi-Specialty Medical Clinic in Fort Smith, Arkansas; and, prior to that as Senior Associate Administrator with Mercy Health Systems of the St. Louis Province.

Mr. Swift graduated Magna cum laude earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Texas Christian University in 1970. He was Dean’s Scholar earning his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in 1974. He completed his Hospital Administrative residency at Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas). During his career, Mr. Swift was a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the American Group Medical Association.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Swift has served his community through church leadership, mission trips and, with his wife Judy, counseling for young adults and young married couples. Mr. Swift is a past-president of Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow. He served as President of various community Boards, Chairman of United Way Fund Drive and the Board of local Chamber of Commerce. Mr. and Mrs. Swift enjoy their daughters, sons-in-laws and 5 grandchildren.
