WellChild Exams

Overview

Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change, and it’s important for a doctor to monitor every child’s individual progress on a regular basis. At WellQuest, our “WellChild” exams are tailored to each individual child’s needs. Infants, toddlers, children and teens will receive treatment suitable for their age group. In addition to a careful examination and treatment for current medical issues, children and parents will learn how to better prevent medical issues in the future.

Wellchild Exams are an excellent way for parents to engage in communication with their provider. Parents are encouraged to seek information about normal development, nutrition, sleep, safety, disease and other important topics. Be sure to make the most of your visits by coming prepared with questions concerning your child’s current and future health status.

During WellChild Exams, our providers will:

Carefully examine your child
Perform tests as necessary
Prescribe a treatment for any medical issues
Recommend preventative measures

Children's Immunizations

Newborns, babies, and toddlers are constantly being exposed to germs from their parents, other adults, brothers and sisters, people in stores, and other children in child-care. With travel easier than ever, you and your baby can be exposed to diseases from other countries without even knowing it.

WellQuest offers immunizations to help protect infants and children from illnesses like tetanus, mumps, measles, pertussis, meningitis, polio, pneumonia and ear infections.

Pre-Participation Physicals

WellQuest wants your kids to participate! Pre-Participation Physicals are required for almost every single type of organized activity for young people. These physicals help reduce the risk of unexpected illness, injury or sudden death, and are very beneficial to a child’s overall health. Call today and get your kids involved now!
